I have become a little mushroom obsessed lately and I can honestly say I have the wonderful Ayelen of Myshrooms to thank for that!

Ever since I received my first delivery of Myshrooms goodies, I have been off down a magical mushroom rabbit hole. I feel very lucky to be enjoying their multitude of health benefits, balancing and grounding properties and have been really loving learning more and more about them.

Perhaps it was the magic of having my first mushroom treats hand delivered at midnight after having been in total isolation for 17 days that created such an auspicious connection. Perhaps it was because Ayelen, founder of Myshrooms has absolutely found the secret formula for introducing people to medicinal shrooms - CAKE. Perhaps it’s that the mushrooms know exactly what they’re doing and always get where they need to go at just the right time. My guess is that it’s a combination of all of the above.

Myshrooms make healthy, vegan medicinal mushroom snacks packed full of nutritious, adaptogenic, feel-good ingredients. I’m talking cordyceps, ashwaghanda and maca snickers, reishi brownuffles, lion’s mane raw carrot cake and more! I’m pretty sure I have indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything on offer and would totally recommending trying whatever jumps out at you! As of recently, you can also buy chaga and reishi extracts to enjoy however you please.

There’s a lovely IGTV on the @plantacademy instagram where you can watch a delightful conversation between Lauren Lovatt (founder of Plant Academy) and Ayelen discussing Myshrooms, how it came about and all things mushroomy.

I was also lucky enough to attend a beautiful online “Mushrooms For Mental Health” gathering recently. It was hosted by We Are Formless , Myshrooms and Feed Your Mind Candy and intertwined drinking chaga chai, meditation and breathing practises and lots of wonderful mushroom education.

Inspired by these delicious treats, and my newfound mushroom knowledge, I have been busy experimenting in my kitchen with various mushroom extracts and putting them into snacks and drinks pretty much every day.

If your mouth is watering, you can head over here to order!
